That was beautiful. Touching and insightful, in-character, even. The emotion was there, all inside, but believably held in, expressed in the only way it believably could be. I really loved this line: "...stop staring at me like I just ran over your puppy!"

The ending with mention of Selphie was just the right balance to the angst.
