I felt so very...floaty reading this. There's that sense of surreal uncertainty that you're REALLY good at portraying with House and Cameron. Their relationship can never be called easy, that's for damned sure. But I'm SO glad you gave them a somewhat happy ending. :) It was realistic, and yet fluffy enough to please that sappy part of me. ;) BEAUTIFUL JOB!

I think your writing is very good, and I'm guessing it gets even better with more recent fics (I started with the first published.) I like your voice and your characterization. I like your references to music (Bob Dylan is god)! This story is excellent, and aside from a few grammatical errors, I can't find anything that you stylistically could have done better. You have rare talent and I look forward to reading more of your stories.

The only thing I have a problem with is ideological. You have the right to your opinions, but I disagree with your portrayal of what a woman is "I had to fold your clothes. The woman in me, I guess." as somehow disposed to tidy up/ clean for a man, even when self-sufficient and earning an income the same as any man. Or was that just Cameron's idea of womanhood? If so, I think it would fit with her character well. I just always thought she would view coffee making, mail, etc. as a personal tolerance, and as not a universal requirement women are predisposed to meet. But again, you have the right to your interpretations (especially because you're writing the stories!) and I'm not trying to offend, but just give my honest opinion on what you wrote. That's generally what a review is, right?

Also, I saw "the woman in me" statement as implying that when fulfilling professional responsibilities, women are somehow not being women, but simply emmulating men. Or was that Cameron thinking to, and not you? I just thought it seemed like you agreed since there was no indication that you disagreed anywhere. Not that that was an obligation or anything. Just wondering the author's opinion versus the character's. I'd really appreciate if you could PM an answer (just saying whether it was just Cameron's opinion or yours too), or post it in a review to yourself, but I'd understand if you don't want to. Again, I'm not trying to antagonize, just wondering.

Anyway, wonderful story and I'll continuing reading as soon as I'm done typing this. I don't know if I'll review, though (sorry), it kind of takes awhile and just reading is consuming the limited amount of free time I have.
