wow wow wow, 'Story Teller' was the absolute best chapter of this entire story, i like how you've built up conflict between jiraiya, tsunade and orochimaru - and how you've set up opposite traits for jiraiya and orochimaru, it's very effective! ^_^

OOh I love Sarutobi's POV on the them

I *love* this. One of my favorite images was this: "...the reptilian attraction to warm, dark spaces and the story teller’s attraction to a hungry audience..." This whole chapter was just so wonderfully developed, how it was clear--obvious! unequivocal!--that Jiraiya doesn't like Orochimaru, and yet if you step back, away from the words and the meanings, there's something underlying it all that makes you want to squint your eyes and think...

^_^ Hehe...Orochimaru is so kinky when he's out of it...yeah, chapter five was the best. And the best part of that was "One way to distract a snake was to beat it stupid with a heavy shovel." ^_^ LOL...best part.

Fantastically written, I especially enjoyed chapter 5, each little story Jiraiya spun for Orochimaru left me a little breatheless. Their interactions in the darkness and Orochimaru's fear of his mortality were amazing.

wow... this was really original, as there's not many fics that center on the childhood of the sannin. XD the jiraiyaxorochimaru was a plus too.

God all of these stories were bloody brilliant. I never really cared to think about the Sannin's history- sometimes I forget that they were all kids and on the same team. I especially loved the last two Storyteller and Space. I hope you update. I'd love some more stories about Oro, Jiraiya and Tsunade. God. This was awesome. -Favs-

I really like Jiraiya and Tsunade's little interlude, I suppose it could be called, here. It's nice and cute...I know I keep saying that, but it's true. I like how they could actually be civil to each other. And I loved the line, "He's gay, through and through." I hope this isn't the last chapter, though it definitely seems open for more. Keep writing and hurry, please!

I love that you showed Orochimaru's vulnerable side. It makes him seem like an actual human, if only a little. I definitely thought there was going to be some Jiraiya/Orochimaru lovin' but hopefully that will happen in future chapters. I love the ever increasing tension. It must be released sometime sooner or later...XD I loved Jiraiya's little stories, too. It's funny how he just rambled them off to help comfort Orochimaru. It something a kid would do and I'm glad you showed that they're not just warriors, but still children. I'm adding this to my favorites list!

Poor Tsunade...it's even more sad because she couldn't show her emotions.

I've just noticed something, Orochimaru is a bit of a prude. He chastized Jiraiya for smoking and drinking...hehe, it's kind of cute.
