They way you put the story is like I can almost feel what Elphaba is going through, and I can picture her facial expressions and body language as I read. | Reading Redhead 2005-04-16 ch 1, | abuseFirst, I must say that I loved your first story and I'm glad you've continued to write Wicked fics. The idea for this story is intriguing and unique. The very idea of Elphaba coming across the Clock is brilliant. I especially liked her musings in the first paragraph of this chapter about how she feels like a performer, living out a life whose ending everyone already knows -- the irony is supreme. After all, everyone (even people who aren't Wicked fans) knows what happens to the Wicked Witch of the West. However, so many things can happen between birth and death, beginning and end -- and that's the part of Elphaba's story that's interesting. You're doing a great job portraying that part, and I'll be looking forward to your continuing. ~Red |
