NicotineGum 2008-11-01 . chapter 8Oh **. I wept so badly over this. The ending was beautiful. Tamahome and Tasuki were just dazzling the way you wrote them. |
Golden-Fire-Goddess 2008-03-28 . chapter 8I really like this story and the fact that the entire thing was written from Tasuki's point of view. You have a really good sense of humor and, well, I really enjoyed reading this fic even if the end was going to be sad. But then again, it was bound to happen. Thanks for writing this! |
 It's The Dee 2008-03-06 . chapter 8Wow.
That may have been the *strangest* thing I have ever read... and yet somehow you wrote it so well that it just *worked.* Well done. Excellent characterization, I've honestly never seen a hinting-at-yaoi FY fanfic that managed to keep the characters IN character, but somehow you pulled it off. Not a supporter of the relationship myself (I just have a really hard time seeing Tasuki developing a *physical* attraction to a man), but still, very interesting and well-constructed portrayal.
If I had to offer any constructive criticism, it would only be that I really doubt Tama would have the knowledge that he did about "midwifery," if you will - in China, men were pretty much banned from being anywhere near the mother during labor. But hey, it's Konan, not China, so feel free to stick your tongue out at me for that one. I'm just being a historical nitpicker. ^^; |
shogi 2008-01-17 . chapter 8Whoa... I'm all choked up here. That was a beautiful story and I loved every minute of it. It was extremely well-written and had beautiful descriptions; especially when the baby was born! Oh my god! I felt like I was there! Amazing! Simply amazing! Well done!
Er, one question: I guess Tasuki was turned back into a guy, right? I mean, that's who he is but... I thought it could have been cool- actually, I was rather expecting it- if Tasuki had stayed a woman and had Tama's kid! LOL Somehow, that was the idea in my head when I realized that Tama and Tasuki both thought of Yu-chan as theirs. Weird, I know but I couldn't seem to shake it so the ending was especially heartbreaking (not disappointing!) because I had envisioned them having a happy ending.
But ignore that. I LOVED your story! An absolute fave! Thanks! |
Magic-in-Flames 2007-09-29 . chapter 8Wow. Just, wow. This was beautiful. The whole story had me laughing and thinking how wonderful it was. You'd think this would be the most AU story ever wouldn't you? Yet you've kept everyone in character and made a Tasuki/Tamahome romance seem plausible (something I'd never have thought before) I really enjoyed reading this and the last chapter actually made me cry. Fantastic story, really original plot idea and really well written.
Oh, and I have to say that the part when they were facing the slavers almost gave me a heart attack XD Thank heavens for Chiri ^.^
Well done and thank you.

Ziqdarathane 2007-09-15 . chapter 7this fic is good, y'know? Jeevas, I'm learning more about this baby stuff than think I do in school |
 DPFYLUVR 2007-07-05 . chapter 8...
I don't know what to say. Wow. |
DPFYLUVR 2007-07-05 . chapter 6*Away in a manger, no crib for a bed...The little lord Jesus laid down his sweet head...*
I love this story. Sorry I haven't reviewed untill now, but I couldn't stop reading it. But to be honest, I got about halfway through ch6 and felt like I had to review...lol.
This chapter, the first half anyway, reminded me of the whole Virgin Mary/Josheph/Jesus thing...so cute. |
Sora Kohaku 2006-03-11 . chapter 8I will not cry. I will not cry. I will--crap--this isn't working. *starts bawling* It's like Nuriko dieing all over again, except being forced to endure it for longer.
This story...dang it. I can't put it into words, but this story really moved me. As do your other stories...all the emotions feel real. |
SasatheShy 2005-12-27 . chapter 8*does happy 101 review dance* Wows!
I loved your story ever so much! It made me laugh, cry, and get all tense. Wow..I've never read anything like this in my whole life. When I read the beginning of your story, I thought this was going to a comedy..sort of like that one movie..forgot what it is called..has Arnold Swartz... in it...anyway I loved it, loved it, loved it! It was a masterpiece to me..good job :) |
SpiritsMelding 2005-11-02 . chapter 8I hope you write more like it. I really enjoyed reading it. Poor Tasuki... I don't think he's likely to forget anytime soon. |
Luna-Starr 2005-10-28 . chapter 8This has got to be the most oddest, and orinigal story I ever read on Fusha Yugi. I love how you potrayed Tasuki's chacrter, and the whole idea of him giving birth was humorous and sorta heart wrenching. Nice work. |
Poseidon's Chickadee 2005-09-09 . chapter 2Oh my goodness I absolutely love this! lmao
Oh my gosh ... somethings you never can (or want to :-P) picture yet they are freaking hilarious! |
Hiei's Vampire Kitten 2005-08-24 . chapter 8This story touched me VERY, VERY deeply. I swear to Suzaku and the seishi, I was bawling when Tasuki gave up Yu-chan. I've only ever watched ONE episode with Tasuki in it--I'm starting to get into the series--and I feel like I KNOW him. This was the absolute best story I've ever read in my life. Aw, damn, I'm gonna start crying again...you have serious talent. I'd beg for a sequel, but that might ruin it...but, really, this story was perfect and beautiful, and I'm really glad I found it.
And I say this with seriously begging puppy-eyes: I would be BEYOND HONORED if you would read some of my fanfiction. Please? Sorry for sounding like little miss suck-up...but this was a great story. |
ShinobiRyu1117 2005-07-19 . chapter 8I'd have to say that this series of fanfics would definitely be one of the best I've read so far. Tasuki's point of view and attitude is well-portrayed in this narrative... I had to admit that I was reduced to tears as I neared the conclusion of this story (coincidentally, there was also some sad music playing along as I read... lol).
Anyway, I understood the fact that both Tamahome and Tasuki's friendship grew within this fic (not in the yaoi type but in a brotherly sort of way), and I was amazed at how a close relationship could develop over something like a pregnancy... although it had a lot of strong points such as they learned to support each other during the birth and the slaver attack to where they eventually accepted their decision to give the child to her righful parents...
*looks up at writing* gah, I'm no good at reviews, but I would like to commend you (and your co-authors, if there were any)for doing such an excellent job on this. I look forward to reading your future fics, and good luck! |
