Actualy I agree with the 'acting' thing. He is differant when in his real or older form.

that was a very nice story. in my opinion it is a lot more in character here than in some other fics that make him act boyish or shy.
he may appear this way but after having lived such a long time like he did, one cant be this naive and clueless. at least i don't think chrno is.
i want to imagine him as a character who really is grown up and kind of wise and most importantly very strong.
he has a lot of power and knows this too.
in my opinion he enjoys acting like a kid in some way too cause he can pretend to live a carefree life like he probably never did before and to be closer to rosette. rosette does not fear him because she sees him as an equal that he obviously is not.
it would be nice to read your thoughts about his efforts to make rosette recognize his real self :)

Really great. I love Chrono's character (in your fic and in the anime) he seems so simple but he really has a lot of layers. Great one-shot.

Interesting one-shot. I really like your writing style. And I definitely agree with your portrayal of Chrno. He IS very complicated (it's more appararent in the manga than the anime, however) and thus his portrayal can be shifted in many different ways (depeding on the the author). I like what you've done with his character and I hope to see more in the near future. ^^ Keep it up, ne?
