It's been ages since I've read a Naruto fic - I don't really keep up with the series any more and haven't for years - but I saw this in someone's list of favorites and it got me curious. And wow, well done indeed. Excellent weaving of writing around this idea, and despite the nature of that 'triangle', Gaara just fits in so well here. If I say any more I'd just be babbling, so...adding to my faves, great job!

I really do love this. I love how you portrayed Gaara's standoffish personality and then Sakura's caring and still professional one. Shukaku's little actions in Gaara's head is quite amusing also and it was very realistic. Having Gaara's point of view and observations was a very good idea on this matter and so was using the whole slug beats snake analogy. It was very original

"Nothing indicated everything and everything indicated nothing." That's my favorite line.

That was freakin awesome. How you portayed team sevens relationship and the hint of longing still in Sakura. Then to show the way she has changed and a chance of finding the strength to no longer need Sasuke. And how Gaara thinks. Just too awesome for words.

This is a really interesting oneshot- to me it looks like the perfect first chapter to a story. ...A very interesting Garra and Sakura romance story. I don't know if you will continue it, or turn it into a longer story, but if you do I would be very willing to read and/or beta it if you want.
But either way- this one shot is still very interesting, keep up the writing!
