ladyflutter 2009-09-24 . chapter 12I'm loving this story! I so enjoyed the movie that this is based on that I'm delighted to find a well-written FFN story from it! One tiny note: back in chapter 7 you wrote that Erik's "mind was filled entirely with Christine—he was drowning in her, in the sight of her beautiful brown eyes"...then in this chapter (12) you have "Christine’s blue eyes were huge, locked on his smoky grey ones." It's been so long since I've see this that I really can't remember which color her eyes were...but you might consider adjusting one chapter or the other so that the continuity is there. That's the only thing I noticed that was off...the rest of this is delightful! |
mutantsrocktheworld 2009-08-29 . chapter 4'Yes, they were definitely in a bedroom. Yes, they were definitely in theyoung woman's bed.' LOL!
There is too little fanfiction for this movie. It's got my favorite Phantom and a Christine with a sliver of decency and pity, at least. |
Sugarhon 2009-08-21 . chapter 30THIS WAS FANTASTIC. I haven't been able to find a kopit version fanfic in a while. THIS IS GREAT WORK! |
xXCourtney HaleXx 2009-08-05 . chapter 30Wow. This was really well written. I felt the emotions, the passion, and it was still fine if my dad were to glance at it. (I accidently came across a story that was mislabeled and my father was ... Let's just say both his and my cheeks were bright red!!)
I definitely enjoyed the awesome fluffiness of it all, and reading this made me smile more than once.
... wait, which really happened? This... or the movie?? :) |
xXCourtney HaleXx 2009-08-05 . chapter 29Yay for fluffy goodness!
Although I'm quite sad I'm almost done with this... *sniff* only one more chapter left... |
xXCourtney HaleXx 2009-08-05 . chapter 24Oh... Sorry 'bout that last review! Heh... |
 xXCourtney HaleXx 2009-08-05 . chapter 23NONONONONONONONONONONONONONONONONONONO!
HOW COULD YOU KILL ERIK OFF! *sobs* No! You're so cruel and mean! |
xXCourtney HaleXx 2009-08-05 . chapter 22I was aww-ing all through this chapter, especially when Erik proposed!
*goes to read more* |
xXCourtney HaleXx 2009-08-05 . chapter 8"I can only hope they were then run over by a passing carriage. Repeatedly.”
Oh dear, I can hardly breath!
BleedingHeartConservative had told me about this story, and I'm glad she did! I can't wait to read the rest of this. |
Anawey 2009-06-07 . chapter 30AW!! Yay for happy endings! I loved it! |
Goth Angel UK 2009-05-02 . chapter 22Haha, that's delightful!! I don't think I've seen the roof scene with that twist before! I like it :) Oh, and I must say, I've never left multiple reviews for a story completed before I've started it, so consider that as a proof of the quality of your story :) |
Goth Angel UK 2009-05-02 . chapter 8That chapter certainly made me giggle :) You wrote the banter between Gerard and Erik quite well :) |
Goth Angel UK 2009-05-01 . chapter 1I've just seen the Charles Dance version and LOVED it! So I promptly came on here and searched for fanfiction based on it. I'm glad I found your story, that first chapter is very, very promising and I like it very much. Time for bed now (seeing as it's 6.17am!!), as much as I don't want to leave your story, but at least I have 29 chapters to look forward to tomorrow! :D I wish more people had written stories based on that version, it's so beautiful and poignant! I'd even go as far as to say it's somehow better than Andrew Lloyd Webber's musical! |
Kimidy 2009-04-15 . chapter 12Ok, i may be the only one who noticed this but in a earlier chapter you said Christine's eyes were brown and now you're saying their blue... other than that i love this story and you did an awesome job on it! |
LePhantomessa 2008-12-20 . chapter 30What a lovely, fluffy story. I rather enjoyed it, especially after I spent this afternoon watching the entirety of the miniseries on Youtube. And I must say, it was superb. Charles Dance was just so mysterious and handsome...I find that my fondness for Gerik has faded a little because of him. But can you blame me? *naughty smirk* But again, I find that this story was absolutely in tune with the characters, taking liberty with Phillipe's character a little (but in a good way, of course). All-in-all, wonderfully written and very lovely indeed. And because I already favorite a large amount of stories, to remember this one especially, I shall put it under alerts, if that is alright with you.
For now, I bid you good day and a thousand new Eriks and muses for your pleasure.
Sincerely yours (and Erik's, of course),
