Poor Shadowkin... Cool story!
Only little things, like checking Shadow always has a capital... The paragraph where you describe the stairs... you repeat "stairs and staircase" several times... this can seem a little repetative... maybe try something else? Can't think of any examples right now though... I know I know i'm just nit-picking
