Wow, so this story is really good. You write Auren's character so masterfully. Not one moment has he drifted out of character. This is beautiful work. My only urk is that you didn't write out the little exchange that Auren had with Gippal when they met in the desert. That was such an interesting thing to watch. It's kind of a shame that you didn't write it. Oh well, this is still good!

Great story! You've given Auron extra depth and made him appear far more human. Even Legendary Guardians deserve to be recodnised for their humanity rather than their deeds.

Pilgrimage, pilgrimage, hello there random person I remember! I like how all these things tie in. I remember you having Paine mention this very part of her life, and so it's interesting to see it... um, in action, so to speak.

Summary of this chapter: ANGST WOE. WOE. ANGST. XD Not much coherent to say besides that, I guess you've gathered my style by now. I'm more comfortable commenting on the canon stuff and so forth. Not on Auron's love life. :P

Oh. I really, really liked this chapter. The brief mentioning of Lulu - come and gone! - the tying together of the Kinoc and Auron thing, which hadn't even occoured to me to have a deeper meaning until now, the poor purple girl and her arranged marriage, little Yunie and little Yunie's mom about to get very dead... everything seems to be coming together.

Now I'm just wondering what's left to cover. I'm not even half way done. XD Just how long are you taking this story? All the way through FFX, too? Sheesh! XD
