I wondered what really happen in the last chapter.
So I'll make my own theories.

So Inuyasha is dead? Who killed him?Naraku or Sesshoumaru? And if I'm right, Rin and Jaken are dead too, just like Sesshoumaru phrased 'among many others'. So I presume that Sango, Miruko and Kagome are also dead?

And there is blood in Tensaiga's blade because Sesshoumaru thought that he could use the sword to heal jaken or rin, and he might plans to heal inuyasha, kagome, sango and miruko if he hadn't realized the the healing power of tensaiga was gone and ends up cutting them instead, killing them inevitably. That's why it is blood stained.

So why was Tessaiga bloody too? Is it because Inuysha used it to try and kill Naraku or Sesshoumaru?

Could you tell me what really happen?

Coor! That was a bloody (in both sense of the word) brilliant ending to a fantastic story! I love the organisation of the plot so that the ending, though angsty, is also consolatory.

This last chapter was fantastic. I had wondered about what the new powers might end up doing, and you gave a very heart-wrenching yet realistic account. I nearly cried. Simply... WOW.

FABULOUS! oh my god, the hairs on the back of my neck are rising, i have tears in my eyes, i cannot express just how fantastic this chapter was!! mindblowingly good!! DEAR GOD IT WAS FANTASTIC! the imagery, the words, the phrasing and the timing- perfection! absolute and complete perfection. Rumiko Takahashi would be jealous of you for this! i'm not kidding, she'd sit at her screen and curse in Japanese "damn you, Airian Reesu!!" i am lost for words (sort of)- just. bloody. brilliant.

Yikes. Everything I've been afraid of since those particular latest manga chapters and everything I sincerely hope will never happen in the canon. You just captured it all and in such a powerful way. Incredible piece. I think Sesshoumaru's voice snarling, "You lied," is going to be ringing in my head for hours.

This was such a moving shard in your series. Not only did you take on the onerous task of writing about Tenseiga's new attack of which we've been given little information, but you've created a most convincing scenerio about Naraku's defeat. The images you utilized to show Sesshoumaru's inner turmoil at the events were powerful...

...he finally looked his proper age, so small and disillusioned and shockingly young.

...Toutosai saw the broken claws and the gashes along the smooth skin of his arm.

What is also amazing to me is how your writing here is so very different from 'Memory'--so versital and talented.

of course you can give 'samurai-like compulsion to a sword'. a sword is considered almost another limb for one involved in bushido (as samurai often were), an extension of the fighters very being! The fact that Sess's sword had honor is noble and fitting. brilliant idea, lovely execution, good job all around. I also liked the fact that poor toukijin got a eulogy of sorts. poor demonic thing never asked to be created you know.

i liked it. the idea and style you wrote the story in was good. The pacing was well done and i loved how snobby Tenseiga was. I mean, if i were a sword able to bring back the dead, i'd also have a bit of an ego poroblem.

Oh, that was nice how you incorporated the new manga chapters into your work. I was wondering if you would--poor Tokijin! We'll miss you. Despite certain sword deaths, I still love your chapter, Cargo Bay. You never know what is going to stick in a reader's mind.

I thought the writing was just great, albiet confusing confusing if you weren't careful. But, hey, you force your reader to read carefully and think, not just skim. Liked the part in the end, the little discussion.

Sometimes I pity those poor swords...

And sometimes I wanna be them...
