K 2007-12-17 ch 7, anon.	abuseI know you wrote these a while ago, just wanted to say I love 'em all, they give me giggle fits :) And did I see a little X-Files moment with Sam cleaning Jack's head wound in the kitchen?? Thats one of my favorite later episode X-Files moments, too :) thanks again! Any plans for seasons 9 and 10??

I totally loved the drunk carter element and jacob showing up - thought the humour of it balanced the sadness of the situation really well! Love the excellent writing and amazing ideas - can't wait to read your next one! Well done! :)

But of course, Jack has to be there for her. i thought you wrote their relationship very well, with the tenderness that exists, and the emotions Sam would've been going through. She did seem to take Daniel's ascension the hardest, and was very close to him (not that Teal'c and Jack weren't). Just a little clarification, in 'Jack's Day', you said that the character of Morgan was about ten, yet you say that again here, and I would think it would be 1 1/2 to 2 years later. At least, according to what you've written. But it was cute how Jack used Morgan as a messenger boy, and used a 'Winnie the Pooh' quote (believe me, the quote was entirely unfamiliar to me). How well he knows Sam! Mm, a blueberry scone... do scones even exist in America? I don't know, I thought muffins were the most common item of that type. I loved the interaction with Cassie, and putting the photos from the previous year into the albums. That was sweet... and bittersweet. LOL, I loved: "Who put you in charge?" Sam grumbled, allowing Cassie to herd her in the direction of her bedroom. "Mom did. She wants me to report on your condition. So go get dressed and for God's sakes brush your hair. Then I won't have to lie to her." I also loved: "How does Morgan know when your birthday is?" Cassie asked with a frown. "Colonel O'Neill sent him over with breakfast and the balloon." "Aw," Cassie said in a mushy sort of voice, followed closely by making a gagging noise and sticking her tongue out. "Oh be quiet," Sam told her. "Or I won't show you the very funny note that came with it." "I'll be quiet," Cassie promised immediately. I loved the fact that Jack gave Sam fishing gear as her gift. A not so subtle hint! I'm not surprised that Sam got herself totally smashed. Considering what you've established in this series, with the importance of Sam and Daniel's sharing of their birthdays, I can see she would want to numb the pain. Aw... birthday hats for Maggie and Quarks too!:) jack does think of everything. I have a dog and a cat myself, o I can picture these two getting rid of the hats, and batting at them. very funny picture! I thought the way you wrote Jack remembering Charlie was very tender and touching. How he's remembering the good things, and sees parts of him in other people. LOL, the scene with the pets and the laundry was very entertaining! And embarrassing for Jack!;) ROFL! Jack, clad only in boxers answering the door to the four, but most of all Jacob. Hmm, considering that Jacob finally calmed down the year before that probably isn't a good thing!:) Good one, Teal'c: "This is Major Carter's house, Jonas Quinn," Teal'c replied. "And I am sure O'Neill has a reasonable explanation for his unusual appearance. Perhaps if he allows us entrance, we will be able to hear it," Teal'c said, pointedly trying to get everyone past the frozen staring phase. But of course, Jacob had to beat the ** out of poor Jack. Funny all the same! Especially Quarks hissing at Jacob! And 'Jacob AND Selmak taking turns yelling at each other'. So was the fact that Jack was hungover and Sam was bright-eyes and bushy-tailed!:) Then her putting Jacob in her place, and Maggie gowling at Jacob! "Well, granted I wasn't in her bedroom for very long but unless my daughter's taken to wearing men's clothes there were an awful lot of them on the floor in there. Plus there's the sweater that looks like it was flung across the room onto the armchair, and there's a bra and a pair of panties in the hall!" ROFL! But I like how Jack defends Sam's and his actions. Good stuff. "First as in 'before we leave', or first as in 'before I let my devastatingly handsome CO have a turn?'" Jack asked. Ha, he's only joking, but what woman would argue with that point!? Good story, sad, but wonderfully written!

melpomene-muse of tragedy 2005-07-04 ch 7, anon.	abuseI almost forgot to review this one since I was so eager to get to season 7's. Which would have been awful since I love this story. I mean, it's so sad, and I really miss Daniel, and the birthday kiss wasn't near as shippy as last year, or even the years before. But there was a definate bonus, and Jack waking up and facing DAD!! I think I said befor how much I love embarrasment and this...beautiful. The hitting and the yelling and the cat. Great comedy once again. Oh and a great drunk scene too. I like the way it ties the series together, kisses, drunk scenes, embarassment, sleepovers...Oh this reveiw is too long. But I love this series so much and I don't usually go on and on like this. I don't think...

Serina Kat 2005-05-04 ch 7,	abuseDang, I think this is a good story 'n all, but I was sorta hopin' that when Sam was alone and stuff, or at some point she'd find an inexplicable item lying on the counter with her name on it in Daniel's handwriting, or he'd appear to her. Guess not, Shrug I thought it sounded neat in my head.
