I've been on a reading/reviewing frenzy all day, so I hope I can muster the words/energy this fic deserves.

Gut Feeling: It's Harry (poor baby) and angsty and original. My gut is screaming, throw lollipops at this author's feet, he's awesome, but enough with the gushing.

What I liked: This is a serious fic with serious subject matter, but it keeps a sense of humor about it. Snape is actually written in character, a rarity it seems sometimes. You have some decent descriptions and an excellent flow to your writing, but the stand out is definitely your dialogue. It positivly popped, taking this fic to another level.

Constructive criticism: I wasn't reading critically, but one thing jumped out at me, you called Privet drive Private drive at the beginning. A minor quibble to say the least.

Overall: This is an awesome effort. It should be interesting to see how Snape handles his new aprentice. I look forward to the possibility for a friendship now that the albatross of the name Harry Potter is out of the relationship.

Also, I'd be interested to see more of Harry's training time in the past, though I don't know if you intend to go there.

An interesting idea. You seem to be taking this in a fairly unique direction... I like the idea that all of the Founders' heirs study together in the past, though I'd have to wonder about the potential for paradoxes. It must have been odd for Harry to study with a sixteen(?) year old Albus Dumbledore knowing who he'd grow up to be.

I hope you'll keep writing. This is a good fic so far, and I'll be keeping an eye on it to see what happens.
