Wow, these two chapters are very well thought out and written like a true novel, original/remake crossovers are cool. Though it would still be nice to know why some zombies run and others shuffle. Also, some good flashbacks might be in order, looking forward to chapter 3!

Good chapter. I like the interplay between Anna and Fran. You're really good at characterization and emphasis, and that's very essential to a story. With zombie stories people get really focused on the violence and action, and I think characterization is needed to further bring us in to the environment, and you pulled it off well. Romero said zombie movies are not about zombies, they're about people who must co-exist with the zombies. I dont even care about the time difference between Fran and Anna's story, you're so good at it. ONE thing I didn't like was the beginning when she states she's had to say it. You don't need to point out irony to the audience, it worked so well without pointing it out. Good job, though girl. Very good job.

I have to say you're an amazing writer. Excellent description, excellent characterization, excellent establishing of the mood, setting, and atmosphere, and a great setting of the characters mixing together. Great irony at the end of this chapter too. Lovely.
