great ending to Annie and Brass's rekindling. I always hoped they'd bring her up to Vegas for a position working with Brass. That would be awesome. Actually thought they did this one because they were getting ready to go to CSI-Los Angeles. Too bad they didn't.

Ooh, I like this-tender and sweet and just a dash of hope. Brass is perfectly IC, and Annie seems just right too. I wish they'd bring her back for a guest spot.

Wow, you write beautifully. The contrast was brilliantly done, switching from the snug warm cuddle to the dingy hallway of Ellie's appartment. You did a fabulous job of getting in the minds of those characters, and I love the very subtle hints about the "truth of her own"... care to elaborate on that one in another chapter? (hint hint)

I like! I like very much! There aren't enough fics about Brass, and I like it when guest characters like Ellie or Annie Kramer (in this case) are explored in more depth.

You ended it nicely too, with two possible outcomes. Annie stays in LA. Annie goes to Vegas.

Great follow up to an episode that really left one wondering what could have happened after. Very well done! I really like the way that you laid down the scene, allowing both Brass and Anne to be human and sensititive to one another without going overboard. It was very touching, and very in character for Brass.

I loved seeing this side of Brass, and the depth you gave to the Annie character was in keeping with what we saw on the episode, but made her so much more 'real'. The relationship between the two, both now and the bits we get from their past, was totally believable. Her understanding of Brass, based on their shared past, was touching.

You portrayed Brass's sorrow and the weight of his discoveries about his daughter very sympathetically. I could just picture him when he first walked into Annie's, and was standing there looking into an imaginary distance.

The love scene was nicely done.

I thoroughly enjoyed this, from the very first word to the last!
