Wow! disturbing and moving all at the same time...one can picture Sara wanting to see all the physical pain inflicted and wanting to take it away. Nicely done!

Terrifying and sad and delicately satisfying. I can definitely see Lurie doing something like this, desperate for an answer he knows he won't like. You're so good at crossing lines with these characters.

I read this when it first posted but since my internet was screwey, it wouldn't let me review. Then I forgot about it until today.

And I still remember how it felt when I first read it; dark, eerie, and twisted. It made my stomach clench and actually haunt my dreams for two days afterwards. It's amazing. Lurie's mind-games, his cool, calculated 'slicing and dicing' of Grissom and Sara's emotional agony...all of it spot-on.

Amazing.

I tried to review this when I initially read it, and it came out very jumbled and incoherent. So, I gave it a few days.

And I still absolutely love this story. The whole idea of it. The dark edginess it has to it is wonderful, and while I would class it as angsty, that isn't the focus of it.

You managed to keep the subtly of the G/S dynamic, while writing a story that was anything but subtle. It was dark and creepy and there were times I wondered just how much you were going to put Grissom through, but in the end I loved it and wouldn't change a thing.

Thank you for this, I really hope you continue to write.

Deliciously and sinfully dark, I was glued to the screen until the end. Ah. There's so much I wish I could say but my mind has gone very blank, lol. I loved this...it's so incredibly twisted, I love it.

Oh, this was excellent. I love me some angst. Very well written and one of the few stories from Grissom's POV where I could really hear him.

Loved the twist that Lurie went for Grissom and very nice resolution with the tape. Interesting choice actually, because it kind of took the decision to open up to Sara away from Grissom. But that's what made it work for me.

Wonderful story! Lurie was just as creepy as he was in Butterflied (even more). The torture scene was scary, especially the snapping fingers act - ouch! Loved the part in the end when he comes out of the shower to see Sara hearing the tape, purely amazing! Thanks for posting
