Oh my god! I can't believe it! And yet, it all makes perfect sense... Why have I never seen it before? I absolutely LOVE it! Though... I wonder... what would happen if Ranma was orchestrating things as well? What if Ranma thrived on the discord and/or chaos he generated? And what would happen if both of the 'major players' came to realize just how much of a 'positive' effect they had on each other?

Thing is once you start looking for darkness in Ranma it's *everywhere*: you could pick any one of the cast & turn them into utter bastards with ulterior motives so damn easily... one day I want to see someone do a fic where *everyone* is like that, not just a few :)

I've seen a few "Evil Kasumi" stories, but all of them are blatent AUs. This one fits into cannon so well it's scarey. The part that makes it scary is it's so believeable. Not to mention it explains quite a few things about the cannon that seem odd upon examination.

You did it again. I've seen lots of 'Evil Kasumi' stories or stories with 'Kasumi the Closet Chainsaw Murderer' or Kasumi on Drugs', but this one takes the cake. Using the Mazoku idea then transforming it into a REALLY creepy almost Silence of the Lambs kind of thing.

Damn! Everything makes sense! I never even realized that Kasumi CAN control everything in the series. Even if she wasn't a demon she DOES appear at the right time and right place and says or does the right things to make the situation more chaotic! I liked what you said about Soun and Ranma. They truly ARE what you said. It's really pathetic that Soun is really screwed up and Ranma is so screwed.

One could reasonably assume that Nabiki and Akane are also receiving a form of sustenance from Ranma's continued suffering (even if, unlike Kasumi, they're not consciously aware of doing so).

Unfortunately, I've never been one to enjoy reading about an individual's suffering, especially when that suffering is deliberately inflicted and prolonged for the enjoyment (or nourishment) of another.

Made for an interesting one-shot though. However, I couldn't see it progressing much further, other than showing the viewpoints of the other characters.
