I like the way Isobel is still conflicted even when presented with her parents, varying between absolute desire for love and fear of them. I doubt Harry could be entertained by any hunt of the sort. Great chapter. More please.

Wow, really realy liking your story! It has so many elements of the so-called "High Fantasy" novels that I really enjoy. Your writing style is also top notch and a joy to read. Since this is a review, and offering you congratulations and expressing my adulation doesn't help as much as criticism, I'll try to be nitpick-y and be critical. One thing that I think can be improved might be showing more magical duels. Another weakness, I thought, was that Sirius and James have reached commander positions in the rebel army, despite their young age. I'd think that even if they were full time rebels, there might be more senior people (other than Albus). Honestly, these are weak criticisms, because I really can't think on how to improve this fic... It's really good! Maybe it'd be helpful to tell you what things stand out that I've liked. I liked how, in this chapter, Harry has to make the choice between Quiddich and school, rather than doing it all. It mitigates the bit about him being the best Seeker in a predominantly magical country. I like Melinda and Bart Potter. The characters are well made and multi-dimensional. I like that you show so many reasonable alternate lives for the canon characters. Some things that might be interesting to learn more about are the reasons Tonks became a pirate, or why Riddle hates Malfoy. I'll also mention that Riddle creeps me out, and I think thats a testament to your writing, as that might have been the intent. I really hope Harry is strong enough to withstand being his apprentice, if it comes to that, without turning evil. I'd hate to see him become a pawn of the empire... Maybe because I'm a softy, but I'd enjoy seeing him get back with his family.

Anyway, IN SUMMARY, I am really glad I found this fic. Its got everything I enjoy in a good story, and I can't wait to read more. Keep up the good work! I hope you will update soon. Thanks!
