Oh my god...that was beautiful. The end made me cry. Characters were awesomely written out! All of us need a little more Chouji fics...

so sad... but it's true a shinobi's life is short and brutal.

Good Lord this had me tearing up something fierce. I was turned into a little quivering pile of me reading this. I've never even contemplated the existence of a story told from Chouji's point of view after the death of his team mates, and this is just brilliance, love it.

this is a really good story, one of the far better one shots i read, and you wrote about the over looked Choji props to you, it takes skill to write about an overlooked character and do it well and with dignity and pride and succmbing the character down to the lowest piles of **, good job
