Ack! Haven't reviewed this one... Bad Ismini!

First of all, the plot follows canon continuation. That is an advantage, because it makes the situation more believable. The plot is simple and realistic. Maybe not unique, since many fanfics deal with Taichi's thoughts after Sora and Yamato got together, but this is not angsty, dramatic, or anything of that sort. Plus, when Taichi finds his special someone, the romance is not instant. It's only a beginning.

Taichi and Jyou were both in-character. Taichi does not take the matter heavily, like in so many fanfics. He is still open and cheerful, and the only thing he needs to clear his thoughts is take a walk.

I especially liked how you described the reasons Taichi liked Sora. That is exactly why he would like her in my opinion. In his age and with that character, he would not sit down and analyse "the moment he first met her", "how she always made him feel" and all that sap. We're best friends, we both like soccer, she's someone I like hanging around, she's a girl, I'm a boy, end of question.

Jyou was in-character too. Quiet, sympathetic, and above all, sincere. Jyou is not Jyou unless you have his trait right, and his answer being "Yamato" without thinking about it shows you've managed that.

I like the way you started the fanfic. The parents' thoughts about how their children have grown up are rarely viewed in fanfiction, although it is more true to real life than the tons of over-used angst. Simple thoughts, a subtle way to prepare us for the rest of the story.

The way you ended it is also great. The light teasing between Jyou and Taichi, as well as the simple wish that we give to everyone in that part of the year; Merry Christmas. Which shows how comfortable they are with each other and how they can support each other just by being there, understanding, having fun together... and wishing them the best. It's definitely not instant romance, but it is a beginning with potential.

No spelling or grammar mistakes as far as I'm concerned (ask K'Arthur-san if you want to find everything), except for a phrase that was a bit screwed up... let me find it for you...

"Taichi hugged it to his chest; he’d be willing to be money it was nice and warm."

The title fits the situation perfectly. I don't think I even need to explain why. It also hints on the type of relationship the story is about. "Finding" is only momentary; it is not something that will necessarily stay with you forever. Just like Taichi and Jyou. Nothing tells us that things are going to flow perfectly. But finding something is a start, right?
