Ooh! I loved this line: "We’re all unfinished stories with lots of chapters yet to be written." That was AWESOME! Did you get that from something? Nice fic!

This is so awesome! I really like Honda's character and I enjoyed reading this fic about him. You captured his personality very well.
One thing: It would have been easier to read if the lines were grouped into longer paragraphs. Then if you wanted a line to stand out you would make it short inbetween two longer paragraphs. Nonetheless, this fic was quite wonderful.

wel written, i must say. you really don't see that many honda fics out there. i'm almost positive its because of the no-dueling and the hair. i've written one myself, but it's nowhere as good (or researched, i suppose) as yours. ah well. that's the point, isn't it? to learn how to become a better writer and all that jazz.

You're right of course that Honda is underrated... I personally think it must be the hair, and perhaps the fact that he's not a duellist ^^; Perhaps also because in the Duellist Kingdom saga both Honda and Anzu were mostly just cheerleaders, providing a sort of backdrop to Yuugi, Jounouchi and Kaiba, so to speak, and that season really started the ball rolling... But I think although Honda's character is never really explored in the anime (I don't know about the manga because I'm manga-deprived... ) I think his childhood must have been interesting since he looked up to Jounouchi, and although he's such a calm person now, he had a history of schoolyard fights... Whoops, long sentence ^^;

Actually reading the word 'megalomaniac' reminded me... I have to post soon! XD I have lots of half-finished things sitting around here! I think I'm drowning in a sea of .docs and papers ^^; Thankyou so much for reviewing! I didn't have a great day today, but you really cheered me up ^__^

Anyway, Honda's point of view is just perfectly written, especially his thoughts on getting to know Yuugi, because I do think that it must have been strange for him at first that Jounouchi became so close to Yuugi...
