Wow, it's been so long since I've erad one of your works that I forgot how good your writing is. The only thing that I can find a little strange is that two nezumi females that are adapting their fighting style from a dance (initially) can overpower someone that a master thief, dragoon, black mage, and Quina couldn't hurt much. It sure makes for a good story though! I haven't looked through the rest of your works, but is there a follow-up? I STORNGLY suggest that you write one if there isn't.

Very interesting, I never thought the Cleyran's would be able to fight. I thought they kept the values of peace, and warded off monsters with something else. Either way, the two maidens showed the general, although why they didn't
try to kill any mages in Cleyra is a small point you'd like to cover. Even in the game it was only the Burmecians that fought at Cleyra, not the Cleyrans.
Fratley's new wife seems to bring some conspriacy, especially with the fact that Fratley falls in love with Freya again at the end of the game. Even I doubt he'd marry someone else, amnesia or not.
However, the fight scene was very well done, as was the explanation of the highlanders. I also like the tale you made up about Kain's lance.
This was a good read, although a few plot points seem to poke flaws into the story, for me anyway. You'll want to sort them out.
I look forward to seeing more of your work Lancer, and I'll also be grateful for any future reviews you may give on my story.
