| Thess 2005-06-01 ch 12, | abuseImpressive. I was never a fan of the film (I was disappointed to take two good ideas and mix them: Iscariot as vampire is cool. Dracula is cool as default. But, oh why, did Craven had to blend those two in the name of the Marketing?). You made me like Mary, the character progression was realistic. And thank you for not write some lame seduction or romance, the darkness of the passion was vividly, so was Judas’ maliciousness. Nor I am very okay with the vampires having kids idea but you pulled it out, made a lot of sense. I would suggest you to purchase (or download illegally if your pocket cannot hold it) another Dracula continuation (one of my favorites): Hellsing (there’s so far a tv animation of thirteen so so episodes and the wonderful Japanese comics they are based on). There’s strong female characters (particularly Abraham’s descendant, the stern and business like Integral) and unusual ‘heroes’ (Dracula (called Alucard by them in joke) himself is a slave of the Hellsing/van Helsing bloodline, recognizing them as ‘Masters’ and he as their ace against the undead). Very amusing. Anyway, I will be interested to see more of your work. Perhaps a story set in Stoker book canon. As for a sequel for this, it's neat to leave the open ending but if you can pull it out, I will read it. |
| Guinn Pern 2005-05-16 ch 8, | abusestill as good as ever, please don't stop and have fun with the writing!! :D |
| Lioness-Rampant 2005-05-13 ch 7, | abuseWell after finally watching the movie tonight I just had to check if there was any fanfics about it and I was so happy to find this one. Its a really interesting plot so far and im anxious to find out which party will ultimately win... Update soon! You're doing an awesome job so far! |
| Roushalnamonne 2005-05-11 ch 6, | abuser. Why am I always stumbling over good stuff that isn't finished yet? This is high 90s percentile quality for fanfic. I have to go into hyper editor mode to find the least problems with the writing. The story is good enough and intriguing enough to have sucked me right through to this point. Now I want to see how this turns out. The use of the con artists was really fresh. The segment with the baby was the only even slightly confusing segment, and that cleared up fast enough. Your characters are coming across very authentically. Mary is especially real. I'm just hoping Mercy Cypress is going to be as interesting. |
