Nice little ficlet. I like how we see the ritual that they go through evey night and the thoughts that go through Hakkai's head as they go through the motions. I think the best part is the end, where he is no longer dreaming about Kanan, but Goyjo. And I think the last line is perfect: Goyjo saved Hakkai from certain death, brought him into his home and cared for him. If that isn't the definition of an Angel, I don't know what is.

there is an underlying sense of desperation here on Hakkai's side which turns to hope as you finish at the end with him dreaming instead of Kanan, Gojyo. Nice. We're not really worried...'cos we know the Kappa will realise it sooner or later! ^_^ :zan
