This is very well written and the raw pain described here heat me like a ton of bricks. It is a touching, bittersweet and saddening fic. You have done a great job, portraying the sadness that lingers behind Nakago's tough demeanor.

It is an inexplicable wonder why so few FY fans actually bother writing about Nakago, who is a wonderfully complex, sinister yet human character. Although your writing style is subtle, one can clearly understand how important Soi was to Nakago. The only CC I have got to offer is that you have got a few minor typos scattered here and there. Yet, it is nothing bad.

NOT a nakagoXsoi fan but i find your fic endearing..

to nakagoluvsoi, nakXyui fics are much harder to find..n_n..peace out!
