Evernia 2007-09-23 ch 1,	abuseIt takes a master to take such simple sentences and weave them together into such a complex story. The simplicity makes the piece. It wouldn't be the same with more complicated sentences. Haunting and beautiful. Lots of things said between the lines, and inferences have to be made. You can just tell that this is one piece that you can read over and over and you keep finding new meanings hidden in the things not said. As well as a good story structure and a wonderful voice, the plot is very nice too. Bravo. One for the favorites list.

Hermione of all people was a match for Tom Riddle - but even she slipped in the end, and what a beautiful ruin she made. Red ink, cold hands, a snow angle that now is gone. Your suggestive way of writing is marvelous. I have to read and reread to understand what happends, but all the time I know that things are going seriously wrong. I love Luna's brief part of it, and I love the battle between Tom and Hermione; He hates her. She hates him. Wonderful story!

It's stories like this one that usually make my day, as twisted and creepy as they may appear - and yours came out as one of the best things here on I ever came to read! I loved your work for it's uniqueness, as well in plot as in style. Even if the sentences are short and appear a bit snatchy, they are just captivating, making it impossible to do something else than read through the whole story. You don't see that often, and for this I just have to compliment you! And while many people might consider your story "morbid" or "freaky", I just love it more... I wish I myself could have such great ideas sometimes... sighs Well, now I've written enough choppy, ineloquent sentences to make you think I'm a complete idiot, but oh well... I'm still deep into your story, plus I'm not a native English speaker and even if my skills aren't that bad, sometimes I lack words as to express what I really want to say... Hm.
