Marian 2006-03-26 ch 3, anon.	abuseI love the story! there is so much emotion and the story is so deep, I only understood it when I read the explanation. but, MAN! it is still so good! the ability to make brain teasers for readers is another measurement of one's talent as a fanfic writer. a very catchy title too. and i would also like to thank you, Ithilium, for featuring my favorite character, Yumi-sama! She barely has stories around that actually show her BEST side: her being: one of Kyoto's beautiful geishas=)

blooded wyngs 2005-08-03 ch 2,	abuseThis chapter is very solemn and yet so full of wisdom.. I particularly like the line by Kaoru: "I don’t want to forget,” “and yet I don’t want to remember…”... It's sad that Kaoru really thinks of Tomoe always better than her.. I wonder what the others feel about her death.. will they also say she was special?.. it's very sweet if they did..

I love the way you portrayed each woman and how their conversation went. This is really one of the best pieces I have seen in a long time. I thought the second chapter was a little odd, I think I liked the first one the best, but both were very, very provocative. I like the way Kaoru and Yumi compared Kenshin and Shishio with out even realizing it. It just made me think a lot about how similar two polar opposites can be, and how two different women can find the goodness in each. The language you used was very beautiful the whole way through. Dialogue, descriptions and metaphors...I loved it all. I'm so glad that you were the one to think of this and share it with us. I enjoyed this fic to no end.
