Yes yes yes! I've been fortunate to sail a bit, across the gulf four or three times, down to Vera Cruz twice. She will talk to one person more than the others, usually the Captain becos he's(she's) more to the touching. When you head downwind and you listen hard enough, through hands, heart, and eyes--she'll surf so pretty, saloming (sp.) down the face of the waves. It flat rocks you to your very core. You showed this so fine, how she bits into the wind, a fragile girl, a headstrong one. You told a bit of Jack, he loves her so, that ties him to the Pearl and the sea--jealous mistress, faithful in her own way--true to the one she claims. Jack loves women, he loves his beautiful Black Pearl.
