I hope that you can take my adviece and possibly benefit from it. As I see, I do not believe that this story is well written. It jumps to fast and seems as though a sixth grader may have written it. I can understanding the typos and what not, bu there is no substance to hold the story together. The story that you are trying to convey is seemingly rushed and put together hastily with not thought about good hard details. Some advice is to read a lot from many acclaimed writers if you wish to continue. Just try to see and think about how those writers put details not only in narration but in the way the characters speak. Such examples to learn by are of course Stephen King, Anne Rice, Dean Koontz; and there is John Saul, Frank Herbert, William Lashner, and Michael Crichton. Don't rush. All good stories take time, days, months, and even years. I hope that you are not too offened. I'm just trying to give you advice. If you are, I'm truly sorry. |
