My goodness, this is probably the most well thought out bit of fanfiction I've ever read! And well written, to boot! I realize it's been awhile, but I know I'd read on if there were more!

At the risk of possibly ruining this for everyone, kyer, (for those of you who haven't figured it out, I am sorry) the ghost in Craig Mhor is Snape. Part of good story telling is working ones way there, and the story between Neville and Josie's courtship is an integral part; especially when you consider she is a Muggle who will eventually be faced with the specter of Snape. I have this outlined to be at least 50+ chapters, which in my book is a nice long read, if you haven't the patience to wait, I'm not planning on introducing Snape for at least another 3 to 4 chapters, since I need to do other things with this piece first.

I figured everyone would have realized this, since the storyline is based on the Ghost and Mrs. Muir movie, where the widow falls in love with a sarcastic ghostly sea captain, but, I guess not.

The best feature of a browser is the Find On This Page one. It allows me to check suspicous stories for erroneous information. Like your story claiming (under FFN the character category you set upon uploading)that Severus Snape is at least one of two chosen main characters in this tale.

You see, after the second part failed to even mention my favorite character, I used Find to do a quick search of the rest of them. Came up nil.

Please fix your story settings.

Neat story! (I'm a raving Snape fan, and I Have My Suspicions about the owner of the 'cottage'). I like Josie immensely and glad that Neville got some happiness before the Peruvian whatsit got him (well, at least it wasn't a plant named Audrey...).

This is taking quite a while to get to the business end of the story. A disappearing cat and an inaccessible cellar - any connection with the house ghost?
