But, once again, a really good fan fiction. Exactly the right amount of happy and sad moments - just a perfect story. I love the part when the Fourth catches Kakashi and brings him home and tells him he should have been there. Just - so sad...

Nevertheless, I love it!

This story was so beautiful. I loved the relationship that Kakashi had with his sensei. It was so sad though.

I tried to review this when I first read it a few days ago, but the page wouldn't load. So, in compensation, I ambled about your page and read just about every Naruto fic you've written. I'll try to review them all separately later. ;

This whole thing was just... beautiful. The flow was impeccable, every line that came after every other line was just like it was meant to be there, in that exact fashion. I sat here for a while re-reading this story and I tried to think of something to criticize, but nothing came to mind, I'm sorry. I know criticism good things, in fanfic reviews.

I think my favorite thing about this is that he shut his eyes as she died. That was just such an amazingly powerful image that I'm fairly sure it'll stay with me for a very long time indeed. Your take on Kakashi and on Rin and Yondaime were all beautiful, very true to canon. The fact that Yondaime apologized and just... everything. It was incredibly beautiful.

Oh this was so sad, it was practically traumatic towards the end. He and Rin finally have the chance to be together and next thing they know she's dead and he'd dead on his feet. Oh so sad... really well done, and his reaction when Yondaime catches him was perfectly managed I thought.

I'm not sure what criticisms to make... it read very well, short and spare until it counted and quite powerfully for that. Favorite part? The first three paragraphs, and the fact that the last thing she says is his name. The sensation of cold at the end as he steps out the door was a very good ending, so well done there.
