That my friend, was not pointless rambling. I thought it was very cute, and I thought that, unlike other Ren-mutilates-himself stories, you wrote it very well. Other have tried this type of writing, and faile,d because they've had no real reason behind it, they've not explained why Ren is doing it to himself, which makes it pointless. You explaine dit, and I for one, think that you chose the most likely explination, yet the most un-thought of. I liked it very much,
