Great missing scene! I like the idea that Kolya sensed Rodney's weakness was Elizabeth. Good job!

Wow...this is the first story I've read where Elizabeth was the prime bargaining chip during Kolya's interrigation. I have to say, I find the concept a little difficult to understand, but still a good story, all in all.

You're right, this is not a happy story. But it does do the job, which is to explain why Rodney gave in. I always thought there must have been more to it than just the arm being tortured. He's not someone to like pain, but he is capable of ignoring his body and its pain/needs when necessary, so I never thought that the physical torture could have been enough. But given Rodney's feelings for Elizabeth, and his vivid imagination, it does make sense for Koyla to have used her as a lever against Rodney.

Wow that was tense- really really good. Wish I could say something more helpful but... I loved it and that's all I can think of to say.
