Hey there! Well, you can probably tell that i'm one of your new readers. I was bored and was searching around in search for potiential writers whose stories are creative and solid when I found this one. This area is new for me since I normally stick with Card Captor Sakura and I'm glad i went out of my comfort zone. I'm also a big fan of Gail Levine's "Ella Enchanted" but haven't thought much of it lately cause of homework and stuff, but you've really brought me back. You really know your thing because "Rising from the Ashes" really captures the essense of "Ella Enchanted," and I'm thoroughly surprise you even have the chronology of the story down to the date. That's amazing because I couldn't remember it. Keep up the good work and update soon (I'm a really impatient reader D ).

Katy! Oh my... I loved this chapter. I know I said that about the last chapter so this sounds repetitious but it's true. I read some of the reviews for this chapter after reading it (to remind myself of what I wrote about your last chapter) and I think you should ignore JustWriter. You know what you're doing, of course. You are a formidable writer and so far (though I have no doubt this will continue) you have conveyed everything about this story and the characters in it so well. So keep writing this please. I am enjoying this immensely and I can't wait to see where this goes next. I have no doubt that you will have a masterpiece on your hands when you are done.

I loved this chapter, Katy. It was great! And I'm glad to see some GOOD "Ella Enchanted" fanfiction. A lot of it is either badly written or has completely crazy plots. I hate to see the bad stuff because, like you "Ella Enchanted" is like a comfort food to me (except, for obvious reasons, you can't eat it).

Anyway (and excuse my excessive rambling above), even though that was a introduction chapter, I really enjoyed it and I hope you write more soon. I always enjoy reading chapters by you because they are always interesting as well as minimal on spelling and grammer errors (if any at all). You're a double threat with that (and also a great author)!

Please write more soon and I promise I will write more of...something! Deal?
