I have to say, I believe I have read all of your stories that you've posted after Mine, and this is by-far my favorite series of fanfics I've ever read.
I also was wondering, now that you've explored harry as an older student in an alternate reality,essentially the cannon reality, have you thought of exploring the original cannon series but in the Mine universe? I hope that made sense...
Anyway, I've enjoyed your stories immensely and if you can recommend any others along this same vein, please pass them along.

hmm, so, i totally skipped ahead to this story without reading any of the other ones, lol. but i was really interested! anyway, this was really good. i really liked how this last chapter ended. great job!

Alternate realties always create such a boggle of the mind. What little thing here, what big thing there can change the way that lives play out... Nicely written.

I read the whole series today, and it's really complelling. I never was one for the whole Snape and Harry in a father or mentor relationship and was just curious.

But really, now you have me imagining all sorts of follow-up for the story. I hate that other world Dumbledore, so you really did a good job with him. The nice!Snape and other!Harry encounter was short but very effective.

Hope you get an itch for another sequel.

What a stark contrast. And very sad of course. I hated how "Present-Severus" had to convince himself and Dumbledore in the end, that he didn't regret any of what had happened or wished for more.

I think the "Real-Dumbledore" you portrayed here is exactly as hard as he is in canon. Although not for separating Harry and Severus, but for treating Severus so harshly and dictating his life. And for playing around with Harry, sort of hoping he'll prefer the wizarding world, will love Hogwarts more, will do anything to protect it - which he did.

I think it would have served Dumbledore right if Harry turned out to be the next Dark Lord! It would be massively entertaining as well. *is evil*

What a sad universe the "real" one is for Severus, Harry, and Dumbledore.

I so wish there were more of this story! But of course I understand you must have moved on to other fandoms, other projects by now.

I've only just found and re-read these stories, and to my delight they are just as wonderful as I recalled. :-) The only disappointment is that you have not written more for Harry Potter! I do hope that you decide to continue with it at some point.

RE: the reviewer on "spitting image": the older turn of phrase used to be "the spit and image," (the idea being--'the very spit of' or the exact image of a person) so there is nothing wrong with what Middleton has written here. If anything, I feel that the author is keeping with the atmosphere of Harry Potter by using language that might seem "dated" to younger readers. It certainly sounded like Snape to me!
