impressed indeed. OT, actually, Sam's insane idea to navigate the asteroid right through earth in this episode is my favorite of all Sam's 'certifiably wackjob' ideas. Even more insane than blowing up a Sun. I just love that woman's mind!

Awesome! Yes, it's dark, but the possibilities are endless with this one. The Asgard would feel very guilty over the loss of Earth and would probably work very closely with SG1 and the survivors to rebuild. And like a phoenix from the ashes, they would come seeking vengeance against those that burned them.

awesome! i don't know why i sometimes enjoy such darkness and death, but i do. as long as it's not sam that's dead that is! :p

this is a truly interesting piece...so full of destruction, yet at every corner, there was always that glimmer of hope for sam and jack and teal'c and daniel. beautifully written. :)

Holy crap, this was excellent! Even while reading it through the first time, I kept stopping and thinking "wow, this is really well written!" It shouldn't have been such a surprise, I guess, considering how much I enjoyed ATGT, but I just wanted to let you know that I really noticed the good writing. Not just the events, the way people respond to them, and the order of them, but the actual words and descriptions and everything. Just...really well done.

And, of course, I loved the J/S aspect to it. So poignant and sad when he was missing not Sam, but Carter. Loved it even more when it finally became about them. *sniff* Excellent work.

I think the format was perfect, especially for this story. The lack or words, or the sparseness of them, or whatever, kind of said it all.

Original, haunting, and beautiful! Fail Safe is a great "what if it didn't work" kind of ep, and I like this take on things-very dark, yet with that tinge of hope at the end. And you've got some really gorgeous one-liners! Fantastic job!

That was beautifully written and I enjoyed every second.
