I'm particularly impressed with your OC, MacKenna - you made her believable and sympathetic, and in no way a Mary Sue. I like the way you borrowed from Stephen King's 'Firestarter' to create another experimental human - it was very clever. You make the dialogue vivid enough for me to almost hear the actor's voices, too. Watch your commas! You get a little overenthusiastic with them sometimes. Otherwise, excellent in all ways.
