Sanzo's battle to shield himself from something he doesn't really want to shield, how he waits for Goku to mature enough before confronting any idea of something MORE... it's beautifully captured here. And I'm thrilled that you mention something I've always believed--that Hakkai understands Sanzo the most out of the four, but also that Sanzo and Goku seem to have this... bond, if you will, that doesn't exactly require each to psychoanalyze each other. Or maybe you weren't saying that, but that's the vibe I caught, and it makes me smile. Thank you for constantly contributing some good writing to this pairing. ~ D-chan |
