You know, this is the best Sonic story I'll probably ever read, along with your others. You recreated this world perfecly in a believable way, and I love how you've portrayed the characters! They seem like such... people, if you know what I mean. Anyway, GREAT job!

very great plot so far, I think Sonic and Tails are getting a fair amount of the spotlight, despite I think Sonic gets more of it. I twas quite adventurous so far and I'm really liking how this fiction was made. ooh, I can't wait to see what's behind this door! Good luck Sonic and Tails.

I'm actually a bit jealous as I myself have written a Sonic story of my own (although it is far different from this one in a few ways...) You knew it was coming. My "End of Story" review! This is really something new for me, to tell the truth but, seeing as how much I enjoyed your fanfic, I believe I should give you my thoughts into it. Most will probably be things you've already heard from me, but there are some things that just bear saying again.

First of all, I give my kudos to you for creating such a rousing and interesting series. As I have mentioned before, you deserve a platinum award for such a feat. One story is something to be proud of, but you are working on an entire epic of sorts. This requires a lot of hard work and patience, not to mention an imaginitive and creative mind. You have, thus far, proven yourself worthy of entering this endeavor. Your Freedom Series is well thought out and flows wonderfully. One story makes you wish to continue with another. It hooks you and will not let go. Each cliffhanger is tantilizing, the writing immersive and, if you do not mind my sounding corny, magical. Congratulations on obtaining such a goal.

I must also give you my utmost respect for creating such a believeable and interesting world. I understand that you based it upon the Sonic Movie, but a lot of your own creativity went into this process. The movie did not really go into much depth about Planet Freedom. The biggest detail we learned, in fact, is that it is made up of two layers-the Land of the Sky and the Land of Darkness. You have expanded on that detail so well. Not only have you given life to those two realms, but you have created individual nations, places that are utterly unique and interesting in their own way. In Freedom Series 2, you allowed us to explore a piece of the Land of the Sky. In this story, we entered the Land of Darkness. A fitting touch, I might add, other than the fact the cities and locales are cool. This touch fits into the overall mood of your story. FS2 was more light-hearted, wonderful for the bright and peaceful Land of the Sky. FS3 was darker in tone, a theme shared with the realm it took place in. It is because of your creativity that this works so well. Your locations helped make the plot. I guess that's what I am trying to say.

Now on to your characters. I am loving your OCs. In a day and age where many OCs are the dreaded Mary Sues-you know, the perfect ones-your creations are a breath of fresh wind. They are utterly believable as people...erm, anthromorphs ^_^. They all have their faults and weaknesses, but they also have a unique character, something that makes them unique from all the rest. Excellent work. You have also stayed true to the Sega-owned characters as well. Their personalities are right on cue and yet you have allowed them to grow beautifully. I am especially pleased with the way you handled Tails. You made his accent to a hero believable. He matured and grew as a character, and I tip my hat to you for doing it so wonderfully. As for the introduction of Old Man, the President, and Sara, a very fitting one.

As to the story itself, it is a great and exciting read. If I wasn't away on vacation, I tried my best to review it on the day it was updated, and that is saying a lot for a reader who doesn't often leave huge reviews. I am looking forward to Freedom Series 4.

excellent closing for an excellent prequel story. i have to say i totally enjoyed the 'evil' robotnik vs. the 'goofy' version. makes the story all the better... besides, when they made the movie they had to worry about little kids watching, so it was nessicary. anyways can't wait to read FS4 and best of luck with the future stories, i'm sure they will be well worth the effort.

Another excellent chapter! I was pretty surprised by the return of Tex, though. I had never expected that to happen. But Robotnik did lose, despite his getting away, and I am glad about that. Now I am only hoping Tails will be okay. The little guy is my favorite character, after all. Anyway, keep up the great work!

Cool! great fight scene, though i'd still like to see Tails kick some ** before this is over. anyhow i like the how u used the old sterotype Eggship modifications with the lightning gun attached. it was funny to see all the various attachments Robotnik used in the video games.
