Excellent fic, still i feel that you underdeveloped Tomoe's character, actually i think Einishi got more lines than her.

Wow, it's been almost 2 years since I read this; I didn't think another chapter was coming! =O An /extremely/ different feel to the rest of the story, but it fits, considering the new era. Very interesting to see the transition. Aahh, I really liked reading this. Eventually I'll have to reread the whole fic, now that my interest has been renewed. Excellent writing.

Better days, indeed. What a wonderfully satisfying story this was in every way. Good writing, excellent action, authentic characters and a happy ending for all. Hiko even gets to torment his deshi again. After waiting for catastrophe to occur, I am glad to see it all work out so well. I look forward to the side stories and hope you keep on writing.

Amusingly enough soba ended up being the buzzword in such a charged chapter.. the fightscene was fluent, well-paced and very visible.. Great reading so far and the characters really do stand. My only real qualm is with Kenshin not caring about the the ikedaya incident in and of itself.. as far as i can tell he didn sleep through the entirety of the revolution and dosen know the outcome.. wudn he want to not suffer a strategic loss like this? :S

Nice chapter.. Kenshin comes off a little bratty(considering japanese formality and norms, etc) but to good effect. Love the interactions between him nd his wife to be(? :P).. moving on..

ambitious well toned and interesting.. can't wait for more.. but on another note, waking up after a dream like that would more likely result in an obsessive need to dismiss than a need to obsess over don't u think? I like it though.. nd there isn a story otherwise.. hehe.. moving on..

I love Enishi in this fic. ^_^ Haha, "Kenshin woke him by dropping a broom on his stomach..."
The bit about Enishi's hair was funny, and I really like that Saitou's in the picture somehow.

I also like that Kenshin's not the self-conscious pushover he is in canon, since it shows that his family has had a good effect on him and he hasn't spent ten years nursing hiswounds.

I LOVE that they had Misao as a dinner guest! It's so funny that she ended up getting hired by Tae.

And WAY cool that Kenshin's kids learn kendo from Kaoru.

And now Megumi! I like how you've included all these cameos.

LOL at Hiko's ugly cape.

Interesting that Kenshin, like Saitou, ended up as a policeman as well; it makes sense. Man, the not-wandering thing really makes a difference.

Good story! I really enjoyed. We need more KT multi-chapters like this.
