You definetevly should continue; it's really good and I like your OC character...she seems alot like Katara ;) But I think that it's really cute, with her and Aang and especially putting Avatar Roku in there. Nice! This is a cute story, you should really continue. I like how you immediately opened it up with a tradition, drawing us into the Avatar world as it was before the comet came. Very creative and realistic idea about the festival. I can really see that happening! I like your description on Aang and his ordinary life--it helps me remember how much he lost and I just like reading about the Avatar world. It's so different from mine!
Hehehehe Aang still has that mischievous streak in him. I couldn't help but grin at the thought of him and his friend disrupting Roku's speech. And he was rephrasing from last year? lol!
I loved how you explained the water-tornado, and people's reactions. "It spurted and splashed water around the ankles of the people in the crowd; making the adults sigh in exasperation and the small children squeal with delight." The word "spurted" is great, and how you mentioned the adults sighing gave me the impression this wasn't a very new thing to happen.
Nami's cute. I love how you slip in her description:"Nami’s navy blue eyes twinkled in delight." "A wave of relief washed over Nami, and her face turned to its normal olive state." Is she a OC? I don't remember ever seeing her before. If she is, great job!
I like your version of Roku, able to be serious, yet witty and fun all the same.
He seems to care about Aang a lot--I'm excited to see how you draw Gyasto into this.
