Weiila 2008-05-26 ch 1,	abuseI just realized that I have never reviewed this story, which makes me feel pretty stupid to say the least, considering that I've read it at least five or six times. This is an absolute work of art. Your characterization is beautiful, the musings, fears and viewpoints of Thrall and Jaina feels very real and your narrative is fantastic. Now, it does get a little wordy at times - many sentences are very, very long - but with your way of writing its hardly noticable because I'm so caught up in what's going on. And despite how serious the tone of this piece really is, those moments of warm humor between Thrall and Jaina has me rolling everytime.

I remember reading the RPG books before I did that campaign and hearing about Daelin's invasion and thinking "wait, when did this happen?" Play world of warcraft at all? ^^ Jaina: Welcome to Theramore. Have you come to serve the Alliance? Thrall: Welcome to Orgrimmar. Have you come to serve the Horde? Isn't that sweet, they even think alike. ^^

Thumbs up for the TxJ hints; there should be more fics with them. Since I can't really think of any witty ways to put it, great job with this one-shaot, hope you keep writing more.
Rowan Seven 2005-06-02 ch 1,	abuseA splendid story. Your depictions of Thrall and Jaina dealing with the fact that their treaty is virtually dead are wonderfully detailed and insightful. You endowed them and their relationship with a pleasing degree of understated intimacy and openness, and the little, quaint touches such as Jaina mending Thrall's clothes and Thrall laughing at Jaina's jokes added a pleasant depth to the proceedings. I was particularly impressed by how well you expressed how close they are while simultaneously reminding the reader that they are an orc and a human and there is a barrier dividing them. I keenly felt the intangible issues and obstacles keeping them separated despite their closeness while reading this story. Good job on incorporating WoW developments into the story too. The part about the lazy peons brought a smile to my face. Your writing style took a little getting used to, but it is very effective in combining a narrative of events with the simultaneous interjection of personal thoughts and feelings. Overall, I was delighted by reading this story and thank you for sharing it.
