Hey! Its about time she was happy! You did it just right. She got comfortable, which was what needed to happen in order for her to see that she was in love with the man.

But more than that, she needed to see her family. And with family comes security. Once we see security, we can relax and let things into our life that we take for granted. Like love.

THis has been a ton of fun! I'm still mulling over that one shot of the car test drive, I may just write it yet!

And I finally got up the courage to post some of my workshop vingnettes on fictionpress. Got a review, and it was ok, so phew!

And the way you tied the conversation between Lancelot and Guinevere way back when, that was really quite brilliant.

I laughed out loud with the picture you put into my head of Bors bouncing on the bumper of a pickup truck "yep, this'll do" he would say. Tristan would want to run his hands over the steering wheel and feel the quiet interior, then see how fast it would go on the test drive, calm determination on his face as he gripped the wheel. Arthur would talk price and logistics, Gawain and Galahad would want to do the crazy driving stunt thing and go "WHE" off a ramp. Could you not see his blonde hair flying about in the dust as they ran top speed across the salt flats? Dag would probably want to haggle along with Arthur, and Lancelot would look at aftermarket chrome bits and ask what colours it came in after he kicked at the tires.

Oh, and Jols would get giddy with cargo space numbers.

Oh no, a plot bunny is being hatched! You have inspired me yet again. A one-shot where the knights have to replace one of the fort service vehicles? Oh dear...

OH! Your comment at the end made me laugh! It is such a great name and I thought she was poorly named in the movie anyways... Artistic license rears its head! You can use it if you want, you are more than welcome.

Lancelot is quite level headed since he knows what he believes in, which is himself, and his ability in life. He is one of those " I have to be able to see/feel/taste/touch it" kind of guys. He would kick tires and mutter if he was shopping for a car. Marketing would not work for him at all.

But, he is passionate as well. And with passion comes emotion, which can be anger, happiness and yes, he can sulk with the best of them. I can see his temper rising at the impatience he sees in this woman, and the passion he could give her, when they finally do reconnect from the heart. His eyes will give it away. His eyes and his hand gestures. Lancelot speaks with his hands, perhaps giving away his french heritage? *grin*

I like Elaine. She is quite a woman. You give her a spark without making her a warrior. You give her feminine and matronly instincts without making her a flower. Shes strong, and knows her place. She saves her strength for her son, and her own life. She's independant and that is wonderful.

The fuzzy moments where Lancelot tells her that he does care were GREAT! It was very sweet. She will see it eventually.
