That was quite a traumatic event he had to witness in this chapter. ;_; Even though you only described a little bit on the interactions/personalities of his guardsmen in chapter 3 I was so surprised and sad to find out what happened to them in this chapter. Are they all gone? Or were there survivors? --Anyways, take care. Can't wait for the next time you post!:D

The way you write Sub-Zero is very believable and uniquely engrossing. Can't wait to see how this story progresses. I'm in suspence! What is Sub-Zero's next move? Why can't/won't Scorpion kill the grandmaster himself? How badly injured is Smoke! Arg, darn you for writing so incredibly well!:D Can't wait to find out what happens next. --Er. Agar 2006-11-03 ch 5, anon.	abuseThis is the first MK fic I've ever read and I have not been disapointed. The plot is intricate, the writing style vivid and flowing, and your character portrayal excellent. You really convey the human side of Sub-Zero without making him OOC, while Scorpion becomes even less human (as he should be). I love their twisted relationship, and you're right, it actually does make the fic creepier! Wonderfully done!

IceBlink 2006-09-06 ch 4, anon.	abuseThis if wonderful, I've been looking for good SubZero/Scorpion fics, they're just impossible to find. The lime here is wonderful. (Personally I prefer lemons, but that would have to be on AFF with FF's regulations and such). Your characterization of SubZero is great, there really aren't enough stories that offer this much good insight into various characters. Also, hinting at events taking place during Mortal Kombat. You've done an excellent job with this.

Also, I loved the interactions between subzero/smoke and subzero/scorpion. You wrote them with such a fascinating mix of complexity/dark . Can't wait to see what happens next. Excellent writing.

I've been lookin for a a Sub/Scorp fic that wasn't...how do I put it...'unbelievable' another funny thing is I usually never read stories that already have a relationship in them,I'm more of a see-how-one-could-develope reader, but oh your clever words a drawn me into reading it!...your good. anyway, yay! finally someone who can do this pairing!
