That has got to be the most beautiful thing I've ever read. I completely was not expecting Zuko's significant realization. I also really enjoyed your use of description. I can't get over this. This piece was, moving, to say the least. Even though it's just a childrens' television show.

I loved your story. Although I have never read (or seen) Avatar (don't even know if it's a book or a series), I enjoy browsing the "just-in"-stories and pick the most interesting ones.
Yours was really poetic and still full of suspense. It was really enjoyable even without knowing the original characters.
