This is an excellent story. Dumbledore is in his typical manipulative Headmaster role. The twist is him coaching Neville to be the savior of the wizarding world. It will be interesting to see how this turns out. Neville has already lost two fingers and has a scar to show for it so far.

There was a big shake up in the Merlin house from the first to second year. They were a closer group when they shared quarters. Separating them into their host houses has contributed to their alienation. It is understandable why the Merlin crest title was abandoned.

I have read both stories of Blind Faith and am so far entranced. I love how well you Integrated Harry's so-seeming disability into the story and thus changed the way of things. I ESPECIALLY enjoy how you fixed up Dudly and must say it was completely ingenious! Petunia is hilarious and I love how she frightens everybody so efficiently.
Hermoine and Draco are a smart match and it is rather humorous that Draco gets so flustered over her. Why, I suspect she would remain painfully oblivious to the point of nearly driving the poor Malfoy/Black heir mad. He'd most likely have to practically jump her for her to realize he likes her. Nearly speculation on my part just because Hermoine, while proud of herself and filled with enough emotion and confidence to be a great seductress, lacks the ability to see when people are practically falling over themselves for her more romantically focused attentions.
Luna is awesome and I bet she knows that she is really speaking backwards, most likely loves to string people along. All the more to her, I say. Being normal is highly over rated.
Can't wait for you to update as I am practically biting my nails to see how this will continue, and all the more hope for Harry to slip up again and call Petunia 'mum' you can tell she wants him to...
P.S. Neville's a Prat and Ginny seems misguided. THough I must say that I don't want either to die. Where would the fun and intrigue though if the characters fueling dislike amongst the readers disappear. A little conflict never did anyone too much outlandish damage...just little flesh wounds really...

Great story i love it so far, i find it so funny that you reversed Neville's and Dudley's personalities. And the fact that Voldemort is secretly draining Neville's 'powers' to 'come back' from the 'dead' is really interesting, and quite smart. However, i'm assuming that it all went down the drain when Ginny got rid of the diary. And you decided to bring in Sirius early, i'm looking forward to how Harry will react to Black's innocence, all in all, you've got me hooked.

typos: in the first one, he was blinded when he was 4, not 5. also, you mentioned that his eyes WERE green in the first one, not gray. and dont you keep your eye color, it just turns kind of milky or unfocused? ive been a blind woman, and her eyes were blue, you could tell thet they used to be blue, but they had just kind of fogged over.

what did they bet on? that hedwig would come back? lol

Ah, it's really too bad this story's has been discontinued; but maybe you'll update someday ? After all it's not unheard of for authors to update a year later...
Anyway, if you decided to abandon the story, then please, please don't leave us readers hanging onto false hopes... Sorry; just read your profile, apparently you DIDN'T give up ! So I'm not giving up either, and I'll just wait for the next chapter.
