| Withdrawn 2008-05-11 ch 17,  | abuseNice, I have to say, the best part is, of course that in fact, no wedding I've ever heard of happens the way you imagined as kid. The best example would probably be either my paternal grandparents wedding, or my dad's wedding. For my grandparents my grandfather wore, instead of a nice traditional black suit, a white suit. My grandmother had received no forewarning, hadn't expected it, and is still just the slightest bit annoyed with him about it god only knows how many decades later. As for my dad's wedding, after he took the rings from the ring-bearer, he, believe it or not, actually butterfingered the ring and dropped it, right up there in front of everyone... funniest thing ever. Either way, this was a perfect example of this law of reality, no-one's wedding ever ever turns out just the way they planned, and this little drabble-y-ish-thing is all the more perfect because of it. |
