Great chapter, I was glued to it. I haven't read this story in forever and its one of my favorites, I hope you have the time and motivation to finish it because I really enjoy reading it. You have a knack to tell a good story with detail that made it very believable that this story could've completed Escaflowne.

First I thought he had a connection to Adele, then I thought perhaps he was Ispano (from the slip of tongue), but I know he's from Gaea. You've kept Van in character; his sincerity is most certainly Van Fanel, as well as the thoughtful responses.

the only thing that i dont think is right, is the fact van and hitomi didnt get to gether but hey thats why its twisted fate.
and i liked the line you may not get the fairy tale ending but that doesnt mean you cant live a wonderful life, it sounds like a line from a certian movie called 13 going on 30. well i'm not putting you down i really like the story and wish for you to up date it soon.

Ok. I was ready to flame on on the issue of Van and Hitomi, but after I read the author's note and you told us not to give up faith on them, that made me feel a whole lot better. THIS IS A VAN X HITOMI FIC!! THEY BETTER FIND A WAY TO BE TOGETHER IN THE END!! OR I'LL BE VERY ANGRY, DISAPPOINTED, AND SAD!! Ok, so who is this Mikael dude. Is he really from Gaea cause that's what I got from the story. I he related to the strange people in that scene with Dravon, and all those other people? I hope, and yet im kinda glad that she's found some reasurance, but i still hope that they don't end up togther. HEY! HERE'S AN IDEA! Lovely story. I have never seen this idea used down this path. Very interesting! I'm no expert, but your Spanish seemed fine to me (well enough for me to read, at the very least lol). I am eagerly anticipating the following chapter. I really think this fic is going to make me cry - no happy happy joy joy Hitomi/Van pairing! *sob*.

I know that in your author note you said not to give up on them...do you mean romantically? Or am I just a hopeless dreamer in thining that their love would resolve this mess...?
