Even though I didn't get post-Fenrir mush, I really really liked the ending you had here. The bit about "you're the only person I'll ever throw my dishes at" was supercute.

The thing I like most about this chapter is that you are making the rest of the Wizarding world actually be involved in this Dark Lord business - instead of it appearing to be just Britain's problem and no one else's. I'm thinking that her father is part of an organization similar to the Order, except in France? All secret from each other, so no one knows what's going on...and from where he sits, I would imagine Bill seems rather shifty. Of course, I might've imagined a little more protest - if my daughter were dating someone I thought was a Death Eater, I'd be a little more put out than "when it goes wrong, I told you so".

But in the face of your other Very Good Plot Twist, I find I don't care so much as all that :)

And yes, cheese tho' it may have been, it was good cheese. Cute, because they both can't seem to sort it out, and kissing always seems like a good idea, so why not give that a try? Haha.

I am really enjoying this so far - most of the time these sorts of fics are mostly from Bill's POV, and we rarely get any sort of plot actually from Fleur. And while we know the skeletal aspects, that somehow Bill was different, he had to be, to keep her attention, I like that he's not Out There; he's just normal, courteous, kind. And funny. Funny always helps :)
