WOW! I really love that this is not your typical X Files fic. Unusual perspective very creative. That is how I am going to believe it happened in the series. Now, you said you want constructive criticism so if I had to thing of something, make it longer. Make the letter part of a longer fic say Mulder or Scully find out and their reaction.

Lucky you, though, your summary grabbed my attention.

You provided a surprisingly 'normal' solution to Nurse Owens' ID, by the paranormal/supernatural/'out-there' tendencies we've come to associate with the 'Files. Excellent job, nevertheless. ('One Breath' happens to be on my list of 'favourite XF eps.)

very good. I suspected it was him when you mentioned 'the three of us' and only used mulder and skinner. there was only one left. :-) excellent job with 'melvin's ' personality.. it really shows true to character. 10/10
